The
Cabrillo Marine Aquarium is holding their 8th annual
chocolate lobster dive this saturday the 24th. You can register at the event and help support the aquarium. They are the #1 field trip for LA County schools and bring a lot of kids to the ocean for the first time. And it's a great aquarium!

There have been several sets of reddish underwater color-restoring filters offered, including
Singh-Ray and
UR Pro, and while quite popular with video, they've never really caught on with still photographers. Here's a new set, called
Magic Filters, specifically designed to work in conjunction with digital cameras and custom white balancing at depth, every 2 meters of depth or so.
