CHAMBER DAY & EVE 2008

20 years!!!! Registration is now underway for the 20th annual Chamber Day events, to be held on Wednesday, May 7 this year.

The Catalina Chamber is dedicated strictly to the treatment of diving accidents on a 24/7/365 basis. Although we hope you'll never need it, having the Chamber available gives divers a vital safety net in the event something should go wrong with your dive. Although there is a grant from LA County, and the Chamber gets income from some outside activities, Chamber Day provides a significant portion (roughly 50%) of the Chamber's annual budget.

Whether it's Chamber Day, Chamber Evening, the Flying Dutchman, the Chamber Challenge, or anything else, we hope you'll help us make this a record year. Full information can be found on the web at www.chamberday.org.

The film submission deadline for 2008 is July 1, 2008.

While setting up the site with our latest sponsors (thanks, sponsors!) I was told that the site was not rendering properly in some browsers. That led to a bit of a rewrite, and an archiving of the 2007 news postings.

You should see a left-hand column with a menu of website pages immediately to the left, just below the dark gray title bar. Below that, you should see some news items from DivePhotoGuide, and below that, links to all our sponsors. if you're not seeing that, please let me know, along with which browser you are using and which operating system.
